Are you an experienced pharmacist looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as Clinical Pharmacy Director, leading the pharmacy services on our busy Surgical Emergency Unit.

As Clinical Pharmacy Director, you will be responsible for providing a safe, effective, and efficient clinical pharmacy service to our patients. This will involve working closely with clinical staff to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care, as well as developing and implementing new initiatives to improve the quality of our services.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • To support and deputise for the Divisional Lead Pharmacist in the provision of a safe, effective, and efficient clinical pharmacy service to one or more directorates.
  • To have delegated responsibility for specific aspects of the service as agreed with the Divisional Lead Pharmacist and Pharmacy Clinical Services Manager.
  • To provide a clinical pharmacy service to the Surgical Emergency Unit.
  • To encourage the cost-effective use of medicines and to improve the quality of pharmaceutical care for patients.

The salary for this position is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave.
