About the Role:
We are seeking an innovative and skilled Surgical Emergency Nutrition Assistant to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the Surgical Emergency Unit and Nutrition and Dietetic teams, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of excellent nutrition-related care to patients.

The successful candidate will have a good general education, a proactive attitude, and well-developed interpersonal skills. They will also be able to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, dietitians, and the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT).

Working across professional boundaries, you will support surgical dietitians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality nutrition-related care. This includes managing a designated caseload, evaluating patient progress, and modifying interventions with supervision from clinicians.

A competitive salary of £31,000 - £36,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role, which requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
