We are advertising an opportunity for a Band 4 Nutrition Assistant to join the Surgical Emergency Team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The Surgical Emergency Unit is a dynamic environment where a variety of complex surgical patients are treated.

Key duties of the job include supporting surgical dietitians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in delivering nutrition-related care. You will manage a designated caseload, evaluate patient progress, and communicate nutrition information with patients, relatives, and multidisciplinary teams.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously, guided by therapists, to ensure the provision of excellent dietetic care. You will also contribute to developing quality services for patients and participate in projects designed to enhance dietetic care.

This position offers a competitive salary of approximately £28,000 per annum and provides opportunities for career development and growth.
