About the Role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for leading all commercial aspects of the project, working closely with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of the project. The successful candidate will have experience of working on large-scale construction projects, with a strong understanding of commercial principles and practices.

The role involves a range of key responsibilities, including:

Project Commercial Management
• Leading the commercial aspects of the project, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Monitoring contract progress and identifying potential risks and opportunities

Cost Control
• Controlling costs and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements
• Preparing and agreeing interim valuations and final accounts

Sub-Contractor Management
• Evaluating sub-contractors and procuring suitable contractors
• Certifying sub-contractor interim payments and preparing relevant documentation

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. A competitive salary of £62,500 per annum is offered for this role, reflecting the importance of this position in ensuring the successful delivery of the project.

The estimated annual salary for this role is £65,000.
