We are seeking a Support and Learning Coordinator to join our team at Randstad in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a full-time, permanent role as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

About the Role

This position involves working closely with teachers and students to provide learning support and guidance. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of relevant age groups and possess a deep understanding of the national curriculum.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Monitor pupil progress and assess, record, and report on their achievement, progress, and development.
  • Provide learning support for pupils and teachers within a Self-Directed Learning philosophy.
  • Take a lead role in providing support for children with special educational needs and disabilities.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • A strong understanding of statutory frameworks relating to teaching.
  • An ability to work effectively with pupils, staff, and parents to ensure progress against Learning Plan Targets.

You will also need to have Grade C/4 or above in GCSE Maths & English and be able to work well autonomously.
