Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Supply Desk.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with classroom teachers to support the educational and social development of our students. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with teachers to understand lesson objectives and instructional plans
  • Assisting in the implementation of various teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles
  • Providing feedback and suggestions to teachers for improving lesson effectiveness
  • Conducting targeted interventions to address specific learning needs identified by teachers or assessments
  • Offering personalized assistance and guidance to students struggling with understanding concepts
  • Using a variety of instructional techniques to reinforce learning
  • Working closely with the school's Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations
  • Monitoring student behavior and intervening proactively to prevent disruptions or conflicts
  • Promoting a culture of respect, tolerance, and acceptance among students
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • A passion for education and developing pupils' education
  • Commutable to Chartridge and the surrounding areas
