Customer Service Associate

We are currently looking for a motivated and skilled individual to fill the position of Front of House Assistant with our team in Central Cambridge.
Salary: Circa £25,000 per annum. Based on industry standards and the cost of living in the area, we offer a competitive salary for this role.
About the Job:
- As a Front of House Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food service experiences to our customers.
- You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of professionalism and courtesy at all times, providing excellent customer service and support to colleagues.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to execute instructions accurately and efficiently.
- You will be expected to uphold the highest standards of food hygiene and safety, performing daily housekeeping duties as needed.
- Additionally, you will prepare rooms and deliver food service, ensuring proper table settings and presentation.
- Adhering to security measures and reporting maintenance issues to management are also key responsibilities of this role.
- Maintaining a professional appearance in accordance with the Staff Handbook is essential.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar customer-facing role is essential.
- A strong educational background, preferably in hospitality or a related field, is desirable.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills are necessary for success in this role.
- The ideal candidate will possess a smart appearance, honesty, reliability, politeness, and a friendly demeanor.
- Flexibility with an openness to change is also highly valued.
This is a permanent, full-time position (36.5 hours per week), averaged across a 3-week rota including early, late, and split shifts; some weekend work required.
You will be entitled to 33 days annual leave (including public holidays) and membership of a contributory pension scheme available, with eligibility for auto-enrolment based on age and earnings level. You have the right to opt-in at any time.
