Academics Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Autism Educational Assistant to join their team.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with a student who has a primary diagnosis of Autism, providing individualized support and developing strategies to enhance their learning experience.

  • Provide individualized support to a student with Autism and other special educational needs
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Aid the student with verbal and non-verbal communication and social skills development
  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons, as needed
Requirements

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Autism Educational Assistant who has a strong passion for supporting children with special educational needs.

  • Degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Experience working with children with Autism or other special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Arrangements

The school day runs from 8:30am to 3:15pm. We are looking for a full-time Autism Educational Assistant who can work Monday to Friday.

Salary and Benefits

£80-£90 per day, approximately £33,600 - £37,200 per annum.
