Autism Educational Support Specialist

This position involves working closely with a child who has a primary diagnosis of Autism and other associated additional needs.
- Support a student with Autism and other special educational needs
- Help the student engage in classroom activities and develop independence
- Aid the student with verbal and non-verbal communication
- Assist the class teacher and provide additional support to other pupils when needed
We are looking for an enthusiastic and bubbly 1:1 Autism Teaching Assistant who has a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
- Degree in Psychology, Criminology or Sociology
- Recent graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant/Carer
- Personal or professional experience working with Autism
The school day runs from 8:30am to 3:15pm. We are looking for a 1:1 Autism Teaching Assistant who can work full time, Monday to Friday.
Salary and Benefits£80-£90 per day
