Job Title: Fire Surveyor Inspector

We are working closely with a Local Authority in Islington to assist with the appointment of a Fire Surveyor Inspector on a 3-month contract, which may be extended at the client's discretion. Please submit your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £per Hour

Job Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage a range of housing refurbishment projects, maintaining clear communication with project team members, managers, and other staff, contractors, and residents.
  • Develop specifications and schedules of works resulting from the fire risk assessment programme, in accordance with regulatory standards and best practice.
  • Ensure the actions from the fire risk assessment programme are closed off, quality assured, and audited in compliance with regulatory standards and Council policy.
  • Carry out compartmentation inspections identified from the fire risk assessment programme to ensure compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, Fire Safety Act, and Health and Safety requirements.
  • Assist the Fire Safety team in developing processes for the management, delivery, and completion of findings from the fire risk assessment process, meeting regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
  • NEBOSH Fire Safety Management certificate or equivalent fire safety management or engineering qualification.
  • Fire door inspection certification or a minimum diploma.
  • Substantial experience in a similar role regarding fire-related project management, design, servicing, repair, or installation.

  • You should have the right to work in the UK.
  • This role requires a basic DBS.
