We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Manager to join our team at CLEAR SAFETY SERVICES LTD. As a Fire Safety Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our clients and their properties.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out desktop quality assurance of internal reports, FRA's, and other fire safety reports, including validation of fire risk assessments.
- Oversight of fire safety projects undertaken by contractors, from quotation check stage to delivery and certification.
- Manage in-house inspectors and liaise with sub-contractors, clients, housing officers, and client fire safety managers.
- Conduct site audits and produce technical reports, including fire risk assessments, and provide remedial action recommendations.
- Provide fire safety advice to clients, both written and oral.
- Represent the company at meetings.
- NEBOSH General and Fire Safety & Risk Management Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Good records of CPD and willingness to self-enhance knowledge of fire safety.
- Good knowledge of UK legislation and guidance, including housing fire safety guidance.
- Membership of the IFSM or IFE (desirable).
- Experience in residential fire risk.
- Suitable fire door inspector qualification or understanding of fire doors (beneficial).
- Knowledge of construction, upgrades, and refurbishment (preferred).
- Ability to work on own initiative and self-improve, with good interpersonal skills.
- Good links for work in the London area, with willingness to travel further when required.
- Clean driving licence.
