Fire Safety Consultant

We are seeking a highly experienced Fire Engineering professional to join our team at Harmony Fire. As a Fire Safety Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping our approach to fire risk reduction in social housing.
Your primary responsibility will be to advise on fire strategies and onboard fire engineers and other consultants. However, your main focus will be on championing change in the industry and serving as a trusted advisor both internally and externally.
This role requires a deep understanding of UK fire safety legislation and standards. You will be responsible for:
- Developing fire strategies and conducting design reviews for new projects and refurbishments
- Creating retrospective fire safety strategies
- Conducting fire impact and optimisation analysis
- Designing and specifying fire protection systems
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in fire safety consultancy. Excellent report writing and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively and creatively.
