Job Summary:

The Line Controller is a key role within our production team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. As a Line Controller, you will be working closely with our Operations Team to meet production needs and maintain quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health and Safety: To work in a manner that promotes the health and safety of oneself and others, and to report any health and safety issues to your immediate manager.
  • Quality and Hygiene: To work in a manner which ensures Quality and Hygiene standards are maintained in the production environment, and to monitor and control product quality.
  • Productivity and Efficiency: To ensure productivity standards are maintained, and to work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact.
  • Communication and Teamwork: To communicate regularly and effectively with the Management and team members, and to work closely with the incoming/outgoing Line Controller at shift changeover.
  • Training and Development: To liaise with the training team to ensure operatives are trained to line/area requirements, and to assist in the training of new key colleagues.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: To work a proportion of overtime at weekend or end of shift as required, and to be flexible in responding to changing production needs.
