The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Perinatal Matron to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving transformational change in healthcare and developing a workforce capable of providing safe and high-quality care standards.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure operational workforce planning meets the highest standards of care.
- Develop and implement staff retention improvement action plans to address local training opportunities and retention issues.
- Implement the core competency framework to guide local mandatory training programs and ensure staff skills remain relevant to their roles.
- Assess training and learning needs, plan, implement, and evaluate education and training across the service.
- Provide leadership and management expertise to promote the teaching, training, and ongoing development of midwifery and nursing staff.
- Ensure the non-registered workforce's personal, professional, and practice development is an active process within Perinatal Services.
