Join Our Team as a Functional Assessor

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Functional Assessor to join our team at PFAS. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assessing the functional ability of individuals applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit.

About the Role

As a Functional Assessor, you will work autonomously to conduct thorough assessments and examinations via telephone, video call, or face-to-face means. You will analyze information critically to create accurate and concise reports, providing positive experiences for claimants and colleagues while meeting quality and productivity targets.

Requirements

We are looking for a qualified healthcare professional with a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience. You should have a broad clinical knowledge and be able to demonstrate your ability to work independently. Previous experience in using computer software, including Microsoft Office, is also essential.

Essential Qualifications

We require nurses, physios, and OTs with the following qualifications:

  • Nurses: Qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD only) and Member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN)
  • Physios/OTs: Qualified Chartered Physiotherapist or Qualified Occupational Therapist, Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), and Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) or College of OT's (COT)
