Disability Assessment Role

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Professional to join our team as a Disability Assessor. As a Disability Assessor, you will play a crucial role in interviewing claimants to understand the challenges they face and assessing how their disability/condition/illness impacts their functional ability on daily activities in a respectful, non-biased and reassuring manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse information critically to create accurate and concise reports.
  • Provide positive experiences for claimants and colleagues, meeting quality and productivity targets.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional.
  • An ability to demonstrate a broad clinical knowledge.
  • Previous experience in using computer software including Microsoft Office.
Essential Qualifications
  • Nurses: Qualified Nurse RGN, or dual qualified RMN/RNLD, Member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN).
  • Physios/OTs: Qualified Chartered Physiotherapist or Qualified Occupational Therapist, Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) or College of OT's (COT).
