About the Role:
French Selection is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Sales Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing sales opportunities with new and existing clients and increasing revenue across European destinations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Research and develop innovative products in both new and existing destinations
- Ensure existing products are kept up to date and in line with market trends
- Manage and develop key accounts to increase revenue
- Generate leads and create new business opportunities with new clients
- Negotiate suppliers' contracts and terms of business to ensure product profitability
- Create bespoke travel packages and itineraries and provide competitive quotations
- Manage operations for designated accounts and complete necessary administration
- Provide emergency on tour support
Requirements:
- Experience in a Destination Management Company (DMC) – Essential
- Extensive knowledge in travel product and destinations across Europe - Essential
- Fluency in a second European language would be beneficial
- Excellent attention to detail and able to work under pressure
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to situations
- Proactive, confident and dynamic personality
- IT literate
What We Offer:
Circa £45,000 per annum depending on experience
