Support and Accommodation Officer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Support and Accommodation Officer to join our team at Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and advice to individuals and families placed in interim accommodation
  • Assist in securing suitable alternative accommodation for homeless households
  • Work with a range of stakeholders to deliver effective homelessness services
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of homelessness legislation and good practice

Requirements:

  • Experience of providing frontline homelessness services
  • Knowledge of homelessness legislation and good practice
  • Minimum qualifications of 4 GCSEs Grade A-C or equivalent
