Job Summary:
We are seeking two experienced Support and Accommodation Officers to join our team at Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing support and advice to individuals and families in interim accommodation, helping them to secure suitable alternative accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing timely and accurate support, advice, and information to individuals and families in interim accommodation
- Assisting homeless households to secure suitable alternative accommodation
- Working knowledge of Homelessness legislation and good practice
- Experience of providing a frontline homelessness service
- Minimum qualifications of 4 GCSEs Grade A-C or equivalent
Requirements:
It is essential that the post holder has experience of providing a frontline homelessness service and working knowledge of Homelessness legislation and good practice. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting all individuals and families that are placed into interim accommodation with appropriate, accurate and timely support, advice, information and assistance.
