We are seeking an experienced Clinical Speech and Language Therapist to join our adult acute team at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. As a member of the integrated Therapies Service, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and contribute to their care in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage individual client needs effectively. They will also be able to assimilate and analyze complex clinical information, negotiate conflicts, and work collaboratively as part of the therapies team and multidisciplinary team (MDT). A strong understanding of specialist assessment tools and procedures is essential, particularly for evaluating adult acquired communication and swallowing impairments within the acute setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload independently, working with adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties.
  • Contribute to patient flow by prioritizing and managing workload efficiently.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various health agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
