United Group Services, Inc. seeks a highly skilled Digital Engineering Leader to oversee the maintenance and improvement of its fleet. The annual salary for this position is around £42,000.

This role demands a leader who can efficiently manage and enhance an engineering team's capabilities while upholding regulatory compliance and maintaining precise records of engineering performance metrics.

The ideal candidate should possess an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an Engineering field and be knowledgeable about monitoring PCV engineering work standards. Holding a full UK driving license is mandatory.

Main Job Duties:

  • Oversee the maintenance and servicing of the fleet, ensuring all vehicles adhere to statutory requirements
  • Develop and lead a high-performing engineering team
  • Allocate tasks efficiently, covering on-the-spot absences when needed
  • Partner with the Stores Manager to optimize stock management and process warranty claims
  • Maintain precise records of engineering performance, including fleet and environmental management
  • Carry out disciplinary, grievance, or absence reviews in line with company policy
  • Work closely with operational and engineering teams to manage service performance, including vehicle allocation, breakdowns, and reliability
