Job Title: MRC Postdoctoral Research Scientist

This is a 2-year postdoctoral position available at the MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences to work in the Meiosis group headed by Dr. Enrique Martinez-Perez. We are seeking a talented and self-motivated molecular cell biologist or biochemist to join the research group.



Main Responsibilities:


  • Investigate how different protein complexes control the three-dimensional organization and function of meiotic chromosomes to ensure fertility in the nematode C. elegans.
  • Develop and apply new concepts to solve problems in the field of meiosis research.
  • Write clearly and succinctly for publication.


Requirements:


  • PhD or equivalent in Molecular Biology.
  • Experience in Molecular Biology.
  • A creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to write clearly and succinctly for publication.
