Immunologist Cancer Research Specialist

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team focused on generating TCR-T cells for Ewing Sarcoma and characterising their functions in killing tumour cells using 3D in vitro cancer models. The post will be primarily based within the UCL Division of Surgery and Interventional Science at the Royal Free Campus, London. Work will also extend to the UCL-GOSH Institute of Child Health and Cancer Institute.
This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with tumour immunologists, tissue engineering scientists, cancer biologists, and bone cancer surgeons in a dynamic and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities
The post holder must have a PhD degree in molecular and cellular biology or a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Expertise in gene transfer, T cell immunology, oncology, molecular and cellular biology, and experience in design, generation, and characterisation of genetically engineered immune cells in vivo are essential. The successful candidate must also have scientific rigour, excellent analytical and synthetic capabilities, and a proven ability to carry out high-quality original research. Competent use of statistical analysis software, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and other common software packages is required.
