The University College London Division of Surgery and Interventional Science invites applications for a Research Fellow position in Tumour Immunology. This exciting opportunity is part of our cutting-edge translational research at the Royal Free Campus, where we host innovative projects in cancer nanotechnology.

As a member of our collaborative group, you will work on generating TCR-T cells for Ewing Sarcoma and characterizing their functions using 3D in vitro cancer models. Your primary base will be in the Department of Surgical Biotechnology, within the UCL Division of Surgery and Interventional Science at the Royal Free Campus (London).

In addition to this role, you will have opportunities to collaborate with tumour immunologists, tissue engineering scientists, cancer biologists, and bone cancer surgeons in a dynamic and stimulating environment. We are seeking a highly skilled candidate with a PhD degree in molecular and cellular biology, or biotechnology, or equivalent professional experience. You should have expertise in gene transfer, T cell immunology, oncology, molecular and cellular biology, and experience in designing, generating, and characterizing genetically engineered immune cells in vivo.

The successful candidate must possess scientific rigor, excellent analytical and synthetic capabilities, and proven ability to carry out high-quality original research. Proficient use of statistical analysis software, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and other common software packages is essential.
