The Francis Crick Institute seeks to recruit a cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) scientist to support single-particle and tomography projects. This position is part of the Structural Biology Science Technology Platform (SB STP), which supports key research in collaboration with the Crick scientific community.
This role will help provide a world-class platform for advancing research in structural biology, biophysics, and related areas. As a Senior Laboratory Research Scientist, you will be responsible for driving forward cryo-EM research by providing scientific support and training in single-particle and tomography technologies.
The Crick has a state-of-the-art facility for cryo-electron microscopy and computation. Our team is committed to excellence in these areas, and we are seeking an expert to join our team.
Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Required skills and qualifications:- PhD in a relevant field (e.g., structural biology, biophysics)
- Strong background in cryo-EM or related techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
