Lecturer in Paramedic Practice

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lecturer in Paramedic Practice to join our team at Robert Gordon University. As a Lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, contributing to the development of our curriculum, and engaging in scholarly activity and research.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, permanent position, and we are open to considering different and flexible contract types, such as part-time working. You will be supported to engage in scholarship and research for your professional and personal development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver teaching materials, including lectures, tutorials, and clinical placements.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects, providing guidance and support to students.
- Contribute to curriculum development, including the introduction of new methods of teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Assist in the supervision of students during their clinical learning experience.
- Promote and market the School and its courses to local, national, and international clientele.
- Engage in scholarly activity and research, including the development of research proposals and the publication of research findings.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in paramedic practice, a relevant degree, and experience in teaching and learning. You should have excellent communication and teaching skills, be able to motivate and inspire students, and have a commitment to inclusion and the health and wellbeing of our staff.
