Job Title: Lecturer in Clinical Practice

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lecturer in Clinical Practice to join our team at the School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences at Robert Gordon University.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position that will involve teaching and supporting students on our undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy courses, including the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm), MSc Clinical Pharmacy Practice, MSc Advanced Pharmacy Practice, and Independent Prescribing course.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deliver teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
  • Contribute to the online support of students using the RGU virtual learning environment
  • Establish and maintain relevant professional and industrial links for the effective operation of the School's courses
  • Participate in quality assurance procedures and represent the university or profession on external bodies
  • Contribute to the School research portfolio in an area of pharmacy practice or clinical pharmacy
Requirements:
  • GPhC Registrant with annotation as Pharmacist Independent Prescriber or equivalent registration with other healthcare regulatory bodies
  • PhD and/or relevant research experience
  • Active prescriber experience, experience of education and training, experience of developing, delivering, and evaluating healthcare services and public health initiatives
