Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Research Operations Team as a Trainee Finance Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to learn on the job, gain a recognized qualification, and develop a career in research administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the financial administration of research grants across the University's Schools and Institutions
  • Ensure that all eligible expenses are recovered from the funder over the course of the award
  • Undertake the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship Standard
Requirements
  • Education to A level standard/NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Numerically confident with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to communicate across a wide range of audiences and mediums
  • Proactive approach to workload management
