About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mortgage Remediation Executive to join our dynamic team at Target, a leading firm in the financial services industry. As a Mortgage Remediation Executive, you will be responsible for handling cases of mortgage remediation, handling customer services queries for both closed and live accounts, active complaint management/dispute resolution, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate directly with borrowers to explain findings and/or discuss remediation options.
  • Process remediation payments and adjustments in loan servicing systems.
  • General customer service and First Point of Contact complaint management.
  • Undertake administrative tasks; processing activities such as debtor tracing, returned mail, and workflow management.
  • Provide support and assistance in other areas of loan/remediation servicing as needed.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, mortgage servicing, compliance, or a related financial field.
  • Reasonable understanding of mortgage industry regulations.
  • Proficient in, and familiar with, loan servicing/claim management databases and software/remediation processing tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively handle vulnerable customers.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
