Position Overview

This is a Fixed Term Contract role for a minimum duration of 12 months. The position requires full-time presence in our Newport office. Onsite parking facilities are available.

We are looking for meticulous and dedicated Mortgage Remediation Specialists to enhance our proactive team. This position is well-suited for individuals who thrive in problem-solving scenarios, possess strong customer interaction skills, and enjoy a dynamic financial setting. The successful candidate will manage mortgage remediation cases, address customer service inquiries for both active and closed accounts, oversee complaint management and dispute resolution, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with borrowers to clarify findings and discuss remediation alternatives.
  • Facilitate remediation payments and adjustments within loan servicing systems.
  • Provide general customer service and manage initial complaint resolutions.
  • Perform administrative duties, including debtor tracing, handling returned mail, and managing workflows.
  • Offer support in various aspects of loan and remediation servicing as required.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, mortgage servicing, compliance, or a related financial domain (preferred).
  • A solid understanding of mortgage industry regulations.
  • Proficiency in loan servicing and claims management software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist vulnerable clients.
  • A keen attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with remediation processing tools and CRM systems.
