Job Summary:

Industrious Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting Incoming Materials: Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
  • Inspecting In-Process Production: Approve in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to production.
  • Inspecting Finished Products: Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and returning products for re-work.
  • Documenting Inspection Results: Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, and inputting data into quality databases.
  • Maintaining Equipment: Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs.
  • Auditing Processes: Audit processes where required, and complete Non-Conforming Reports with root cause analysis.
  • Providing Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to production personnel on inspecting using best practices.
  • Collaborating with Production Manager: Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure priorities are met.
  • Ensuring Calibration System: Ensure the calibration system is kept up to date.

  • Quality: Meet quality standards and ensure that products meet specifications.
  • Meeting Daily Targets: Meet daily targets and deadlines.
  • Following Inspection Criteria: Follow all inspection criteria and procedures.

Person Specification:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a quality inspector or relevant role.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
  • Responsibility: Responsible and trustworthy.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems, including CMM and vision machines.
  • Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
  • Software Skills: Working knowledge of MS Office.
