Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Merchandising Manager to join our team at Halfords Group PLC. As a key member of our Digital & Customer team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our online retail merchandising strategy, ensuring that our customers have an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Range Reviews: Lead and manage the implementation of range reviews on Online Retail, maximising sales and profit potential aligned to commercial priorities.
  2. Retail Merchandising Plan: Manage the detailed retail merchandising plan to maximise customer engagement and conversion.
  3. Content Execution: Ensure that the right plan of content execution is in place to drive conversion for new range, focusing on the customer journey and user experience while supporting campaign execution across your area.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Form a strong working relationship with key stakeholders within digital, trading, and marketing to ensure teams work seamlessly together to deliver plans and merchandising improvements.
  5. Data Analysis: Work closely with Finance, CRO, and Optimisation teams to analyse overall performance, forecasts, and opportunities, and make recommendations about online marketing and promotions.
  6. Performance Management: Gather and evaluate feedback on performance on a regular basis, and provide regular updates to the digital leadership team and key business stakeholders on new initiatives, data insights, and key results driven off the back of changes.

Requirements:

  1. Strong Business Acumen: Good level of commercial awareness and strong business acumen.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Very good stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence teams and senior management alike.
  3. Data Analysis: Good analytical skills, awareness of key technologies and tools used for data analysis.
  4. Relationship Building: Good at building business relationships internally and externally with partners and suppliers.
