We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Victoria Medical Centre. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients and visitors, ensuring a positive first impression of our practice.
  • Manage reception duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling patient inquiries.
  • Process prescriptions, ensure accurate and timely completion, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Book appointments, manage schedules, and coordinate with healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and scanning documents.
  • Assist with patient registration, including verifying patient information and updating records.
  • Support the wider team at Victoria Medical Centre, including clinical coding, summarizing clinical records, and managing medical notes.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative software, including EMIS and DOCMAN.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work outside of core office hours, as needed.
  • Willingness to undertake further training and development to support the growth and success of our practice.
