As a Fellow, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced surgeons and researchers in the field of hip and knee arthroplasty.
About the RoleThis is a fixed-term Fellowship position, commencing in August 2026, for a period of 12 months. The successful candidate will work with Professor Tim Board and Mr Anil Gambhir, who are renowned experts in hip and knee arthroplasty. You will be exposed to a wide range of surgical techniques, including direct anterior hip replacement, day case hip arthroplasty, and single and two-stage revision for infection.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the management of patients undergoing hip and knee arthroplasty surgery
- Participate in the development and implementation of research projects in the field of hip and knee arthroplasty
- Contribute to the teaching and training of junior medical staff
- Attend and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- Full/limited registration with the General Medical Council
- Higher Specialist Training in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Experience in lower limb arthroplasty surgery
- Evidence of participation in education or teaching
