Area Sales Manager Industrial Roller Shutter Doors
About the Role:
This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in the Midlands region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business and developing existing accounts within the industrial door market.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in field sales, preferably within the industrial industry, and possess excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
You will be working with a range of customers, including logistics, construction, waste management, retail, manufacturing, food production, pharmaceutical, IT, and quality engineering companies.
Your primary objective will be to achieve £400,000-£500,000 of turnover in your first year, by identifying new business opportunities and growing existing relationships.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be expected to work independently, targeting middle management and health & safety offices, and following up on self-generated leads through your own contacts within the industrial door market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generating new business and developing existing accounts within the industrial door market
- Identifying new business opportunities and growing existing relationships
- Working with a range of customers across various industries, including logistics, construction, waste management, retail, manufacturing, food production, pharmaceutical, IT, and quality engineering
- Targeting middle management and health & safety offices
- Following up on self-generated leads through your own contacts within the industrial door market
Requirements:
- Proven track record in field sales, preferably within the industrial industry
- Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and target specific customer segments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow up on self-generated leads and grow existing relationships
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus 30% uncapped commission
