This role involves providing dedicated support to an individual with autism and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) in their home and community setting.

  • You will be responsible for assisting with personal care, developing relationships with the individual, and enabling them to participate in community activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with autism and PDA, using effective communication strategies to promote independence and confidence.

">Requirements">
  • A proven track record of supporting adults with autism and PDA.
  • Ability to work consistently and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the use of clear and concise language.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team and with other professionals involved in the individual's support.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.

Benefits include 29 days' paid holiday, increasing with each year of service up to 31 days, plus the option to buy additional holidays and spread the cost.
