About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Penzance. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or both, to live fulfilling lives.

As a Bank Support Worker, you will have the flexibility to choose your shifts, working a variety of days, evenings, and weekends. You will be part of a dynamic team that provides person-centred support, enabling individuals to develop daily living skills, access their communities, and pursue their interests.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to delivering high-quality support. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring that each person's needs are met.

We offer a range of benefits, including sleep-ins paid at £60 extra, full training to gain the nationally recognised Care Certificate, and a competitive salary of £12.27 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop daily living skills with individuals
  • Support people to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training, or friendships
  • Contribute to, develop, and implement individual care plans
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with individuals, their family members, and external professionals
  • Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support
