About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager - Contracts to join our team at Sheffield City Council. As a key member of our Contract Management Team, you will be responsible for leading the operational delivery, management, and coordination of two of our facility management contracts, as well as being involved in the other school contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of facility management contracts, ensuring compliance with contract obligations and providing excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement FM and contract management strategies, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide commercial acumen and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best value for the Council.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Council to achieve strategic priorities.
  • Develop and broaden your experience, working with a supportive and experienced team.

Requirements
  • Strong property FM skills and a background in contract management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret contracts and communicate effectively.
  • Good commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work using your own initiative and manage team members where required.
  • Right to work in the UK.
