Location: Derby

This is a critical leadership role at Refuge, requiring someone who is passionate about supporting survivors of domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes. As an Abuse and Support Services Coordinator, you will lead on the delivery and development of high-quality refuge and outreach services.

Your responsibilities will include providing line management and support to staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and contributing to the development of best practices in domestic abuse support. You will also participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota, responding to critical incidents and ensuring continuity of service.

To succeed in this role, you will need significant experience in managing complex and high-risk cases, overseeing operational emergencies, and promoting high standards of casework. An excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on survivors is essential, as well as relevant legislation and policy frameworks.
