About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to join our team at Snap Care. As a key member of our care team, you will provide 2:1 support to a young lady with complex care needs, promoting her independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 2:1 support to a young lady with complex care needs, including assistance with daily living activities, health care, and medical needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the client's family, therapy team, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the client's needs are met.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to promote the client's independence and well-being.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to the client, engaging in activities that promote her interests and hobbies.
  • Maintain accurate records of the client's care and progress, reporting any concerns or issues to the relevant authorities.
Requirements
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs, including suctioning, manual handling, and medical procedures.
  • Confident and competent in all aspects of manual handling and care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, and weekends, with a minimum of 30 hours per week available.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (WAV) for use on duty.
