We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to join our team at Snap Care. This is a unique opportunity to work with a young adult with complex needs and make a real difference in their life.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 2:1 support to Winnie, a 17-year-old with Cerebral Palsy, scoliosis, and other medical needs
- Assist with daily living activities, health care, and medical needs
- Work collaboratively with Winnie's family, therapy team, and other healthcare professionals to ensure her well-being and independence
- Participate in training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in complex care and medical needs
- Experience supporting children or young adults with complex care and medical needs
- Confident in all aspects of manual handling and suctioning
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work days, waking nights, and weekends
- Valid driver's license and access to a WAV vehicle
