Job Title: Complex Care Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to join our team in providing 2:1 assistance to a young lady with complex care needs.

About the Role:
  • Provide 2:1 support to a young lady with complex care needs, including suctioning, manual handling, and medication administration.
  • Work collaboratively with the client's family, therapy team, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the client's needs are met.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support the client with her hobbies and interests, such as arts and crafts, music, and movies.
  • Work flexible hours, including days, nights, and weekends, with a minimum of 4 weeks' notice.
About the Client:

Our client is a young lady with Cerebral Palsy, scoliosis, Dystonia, and a Gastrostomy. She requires 2:1 support 24/7 to meet her health, care, and medical needs.

Requirements:
  • Experience supporting children or young adults with complex care needs.
  • Confident in all aspects of manual handling and suctioning.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the client's family and healthcare professionals.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a WAV vehicle.
