Clerk and Finance Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Clerk and Finance Officer in Leadenham, contributing to the efficient functioning of the local government system.
You will be responsible for managing the Council's finances, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Your technical skills in Office, Word, Excel, and website updates will also be essential in maintaining our online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and other related duties.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including council members and external auditors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, assets, and liabilities.
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
