**Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all personnel on site, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement safe operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure all personnel on site are aware of their health and safety responsibilities and provide training as necessary.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive health and safety policy and procedure manual.
  • Provide advice and guidance to management and staff on health and safety matters.
  • Collaborate with external health and safety authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of health and safety inspections, audits, and incidents.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or fit-out industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • TWC Training.
  • Grad IOSH.
