Job Title:

A dynamic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Flight Systems Specialist to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development of actuation and landing gear sub-systems for a challenging first flight timescale and subsequent spiral development.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide domain expertise to support the development of new programs, specifically the Falconworks program. This involves engaging with key suppliers to identify and engineer solutions to meet the project's requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of actuation and landing gear sub-systems for a challenging first flight timescale and subsequent spiral development.
  • Engage with key suppliers to identify and engineer solutions to meet the project's requirements.
  • Ensure alignment and consistency of approach regarding product design/development across the project(s).
  • Create and manage platform-level requirements.
  • Configure and control all design artefacts through to design release.
  • Coordinate and manage deviations, waivers, WQNs, and SPRs.
  • Collate evidence in support of product release.
  • Interface with CEM, System Delivery Units, and Air Functions to ensure appropriate support to integration activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in systems design and development.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to delivery.
