About the Role:

Pertemps Northampton is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Legal Sector. As a key member of our support staff, you will provide administrative support to our legal team, ensuring the smooth operation of our law firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Preparation: Prepare correspondence and documents through audiotyping and word processing, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • File Management: Manage files, including daily filing, file opening, closure, storage, and retrieval from archive, in accordance with our firm's procedures.
  • Diary Management: Manage diaries, including arranging and re-arranging meetings, setting reminders for key dates, and chasing search results to promote excellent client care.
  • Communication: Liaise with clients, solicitors, lenders, and other parties as instructed by the Director, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Administrative Support: Provide support to other secretaries, answer incoming calls, and undertake general administrative duties.
  • Accounts and Billing: Assist with accounts queries, postings, and billing, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Research and Support: Conduct legal research for and on behalf of the Director, providing high-quality support to our legal team.
