Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Child Health Practitioner to join our team at North East London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Health Visitor - Child Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in promoting the health, wellbeing, and development of children in our community.

About the Role

  • To provide high-quality care and support to families with children aged 0-5, focusing on child development and health needs.
  • To work closely with other agencies and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • To identify and address safeguarding concerns, escalating as required, and working collaboratively with other teams.

Requirements

  • Degree in Health Visiting or equivalent qualification.
  • Significant experience in child health and development, preferably in a community setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of information governance and good record keeping practices.
