Digital Content Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Content Officer to join our Communications Team at the University of Sussex Business School. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging digital content that showcases our Business School's expertise and achievements.
Your primary focus will be on crafting compelling content for our website, social media channels, and other digital platforms. You will work closely with our Business School Marcomms group, central University comms teams, and key stakeholders to ensure our web content is engaging, search engine friendly, and aligned with our brand identity.
You will have a talent for spotting potential stories and developing them into captivating content that resonates with our audience. Your proactive approach will ensure that our communications are always fresh and relevant, and your ability to manage multiple projects will enable you to meet tight deadlines with ease.
We are looking for someone with a passion for digital content and a knack for creating engaging stories. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of brand identity and values, and a talent for writing captivating copy, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with our Business School's goals and objectives
- Create engaging digital content for our website, social media channels, and other digital platforms
- Work closely with our Business School Marcomms group, central University comms teams, and key stakeholders to ensure our web content is engaging and search engine friendly
- Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines with ease
- Monitor and analyze our digital content's performance using tools like Google Analytics
