Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Rheumatology Clinic team at Epping Florist Works. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our Rheumatology Outpatient Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with autoimmune and rheumatic diseases, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of their conditions.
  • Lead primary case management and act as a clinical resource for evidence-based practices in rheumatology.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate care programs to maximize patient outcomes and improve quality of life.
  • Support and coordinate clinical trials and research projects within the Department of Rheumatology, including patient recruitment and participation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.

Requirements:

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of the employee's specified post-graduate qualification.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic clinical environment.
  • Ability to think critically and make sound judgments in complex situations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
