At Leader Education, we are seeking a dedicated individual to support children within a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) school in Northumberland. The successful candidate will have had previous experience working with young people who have SEND, as well as a genuine interest and commitment to helping them reach their full potential.

The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 8:30 until 15:30.

About the Role
  • Candidates will need an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or the willingness to obtain one.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Monitor and manage student's behaviour and wellbeing.
  • Support the development of social and emotional skills.
  • Assist with personal care if needed.
  • Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting young people with diverse needs.

We require candidates to submit a comprehensive CV outlining their teaching experience and qualifications relevant to this role. The estimated salary for this position is around £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
